Data used by the current site
- Calculator inputs: processed in the page to produce results.
- Audit and inventory entries: saved under separate localStorage keys on the device and browser profile you use.
- Imported JSON: validated locally before an explicit Cancel, Merge, or Replace choice for inventory imports.
- Export and print: initiated by you through browser download or print controls.
Services not present
The current build contains no analytics, advertising, account system, contact form, cookies set by site code, or third-party font request. Following an external source link takes you to another site with its own privacy practices.
Your controls
Use “Clear audit” for the standby audit or “Reset inventory” for the separate whole-home inventory. Clearing site data in browser settings also removes localStorage. Downloaded exports remain wherever you saved them and must be deleted separately.

Published and maintained by Appliance Cost Lab. Privacy questions can be sent to the public address contact@appliancecostlab.com. The address may forward mail internally, but the forwarding destination is not exposed.
Future changes
If analytics, advertising, forms, or other services are added, this notice must be revised before those services are enabled. Applicable consent and disclosure requirements must also be assessed.
